Interfaith Community Church Invites People for Shab-e-Barat

KOLKATA, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com) - Shab-e-Barat, a ’special night journey of Forgiveness’ dedicated for every human being will be held on this Saturday, 31 July, 6-10pm. All people are invited to join the Interfaith Community Church located at 1763 NW 62nd Street in Ballard.

Shab-i Barat will be an auspicious occasion observed with religious fervour and reverence for the Almighty. This occasion will commence with a Potluck Meal at 6:00pm. The meal will be followed by prayer, meditation and chanting. Jamal Rahman will share stories of the Prophet and about two precious nights from his Islamic Sufi spiritual tradition:
Lailat al Miraj
Lailat al Bara’ah (Shab-Barat)

Participants will be invited to share their personal stories of Forgiveness and they are requested to bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank.
