No winner or loser: Ramjanmabhoomi Trust

AYODHYA - Ramjanmabhoomi Trust chief Mahant Nritya Gopal Das said here Thursday that the Allahabad High Courts verdict on the Ayodhya title suits should not be viewed in terms of victory or defeat of any religion”.

I would like to say that the verdict is not a victory or a defeat of a particular religion It should only be viewed as the victory of Ram Lalla (the makeshift temple),” Das told reporters at a press conference in the Janki Ghat area.

The high court has given a historic judgment after accepting the fact that the Ram Lalla is associated with the birth place of Lord Rama Its really a matter of pleasure for the Hindus,” he added.

Das appealed that members of both the communities must make every effort to maintain peace and communal harmony.

Its the responsibility of Hindus and Muslims to ensure peace prevails even after the verdict It (verdict) should not affect the composite culture of the country Hindu-Mulsim ties need to become more stronger after the verdict and I am hopeful that members from both the communities will make an all-out effort for the same,” said Das.
