Verdict will act as catalytic agent for unity: Modi

AHMEDABAD - Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi Thursday welcomed the Ayodhya judgment and said it will act as a \”catalytic agent\” for unity.
Modi, speaking to reporters after the Allahabad High Court gave its verdict in favour of a temple in Ayodhya, said it would pave the way for construction of a grand temple at the site.
He also said the verdict should not be viewed as a victory of defeat of any side.
\”I am happy over the judgment as it will pave the way for construction of a grand temple at Ayodhya. I feel that this judgment will work as a catalytic agent for unity.\”
He said a temple would be constructed at the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid site in Ayodhya and \”national unity will be strengthened\”.
A three-judge Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court Thursday ruled in favour of a temple at the Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid
