Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrated with Grandeur

MUMBAI, INDIA ( This year two religious festivities namely the Eid and Ganesh Chaturthi are being celebrated in India on the same day and this can be dubbed as an example of peaceful co existence of religious diversity. The Bollywood actors and actresses have sent their greetings and heartfelt wishes to the fans and friends and most of them have resorted to the Internet for that purpose. A lot of celebrities including stalwart actor Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan write in their blogs regularly. A number of stars have also sent their wishes to their close ones trough the popular social networking services. They have said that two major occasions falling in the same day should be seen as a way to uphold peace and togetherness.

Shekhar Kapur noted director also sent his wishes on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi. Actor Arun Rampal said on his post ‘ Eid Mubarak and Ganpati Bappa Morya. Let us all never differentiate after this day. Positivity and peace looking forward from now on’. Some of the Bollywood actors who were abroad for shooting are heading back to India to be a part of the Ganesh Chaturthi and Eid celebrations. Among them ace actor Abhishek Bachchan deserves a mention.

Apart from the actors and celebrities the residents are also celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi and the rain has failed to deter them from joining the celebrations. Mumbai Police has stepped up the patrol to prevent any kind of untoward incident. Apart from Police personnel the metal detectors, bomb disposal squads as well as the paramilitary forces have been kept ready.
